Providers at The Shoulder Clinic of Idaho commonly treat injured workers and perform second opinions for those desiring to seek the advice of a fellowship trained shoulder & elbow surgeon.
Patients from many work backgrounds can experience a work-related shoulder or elbow injury. Injuries to the shoulder and elbow can occur during a fall, from blunt trauma to the joint, from repetitive movements or during an automobile accident on company time.
If your shoulder or elbow injury is due to a work related injury, please be sure to contact your employer immediately and inform them of your condition. The Shoulder Clinic of Idaho will need to receive authorization from your workers’ compensation carrier before we can proceed with an evaluation and treatment. Failure to properly report your work injury to your employer may result in your claim being denied. A denied claim will be your responsibility.
